We had a great session two! I love getting to know what each person's personality is and how that translates to the team as a whole. Thanks to all of you for such great participation! Praises that Katrina is feeling better!
I posted the photos above because I want you all to start thinking and praying about what it will be like to be in a country that is not Christian. You will meet a lot of Christians on this trip, but please do understand that they are the minority.
I am reminded of driving around in the Bible Belt of the US. Church after church after church. Big white beautiful churches. Steeples. Green lawns. You can hardly drive a mile without passing half a dozen churches. I wonder what a Hindu person would feel like living in that environment.
When we visit Nepal, the vast majority of people that we encounter will not be Christian. They are Hindu or Buddhist. We are the outsiders - I pray that we will remember that throughout our trip.
Seldom in our lifetimes will we have the opportunity to visit a place like Nepal. I am so excited for each and every one of you that has stepped out in faith to make this journey!

Amen. I feel what you are saying. How hard it must be to live in a country. I think it's a great reminder that you have given to us all to remember that when we journey to Nepal. Thank you! Miss you all!

That is very true. I will definitely continue to keep them and us in my prayers. I am SO ready to have another meeting! I can't wait for next week. Every meeting, every piece of homework, every day gets us closer to this exciting journey. On that note ... have airplane tickets been purchased yet?
