OK, so here it goes, our fabulous 2009 Women's Nepal Team:
Lea, Vista, Diane, Tracy, Jennifer, Katrina and Audrey
How exciting it is for me to begin to pray for each of you and for the trip. I am very pleased with the team that we have formed!
Our first team meeting will be on November 1st at the church. After that initial meeting, we will probably decide to meet in homes for the remainder of our training.
At our first team meeting, we will go over some practicalities: vaccinations, passports, support raising, etc. One thing that I would advise - if you do not already have a passport please start working on getting one right away. Let me know if you need assistance with that.
Also, begin to think about your story. How you have come to be who you are today, and how God's saving grace has changed your life. We will talk more about this at Session 1.
Some specific prayer requests for this month:
Pray for each member of the team. You don't all know each other yet, but we will know each other well after this trip! :)
Pray for the unity of the team.
Pray for the Nepali people that we will meet. Pray that we will be the hands and feet of Christ in Nepal.
Ladies, I am anxious to begin this journey with you! Post your comments, prayer requests [be general - this is the Internet, after all!], and just let us all know that you are out there and excited too!

Hi Ladies,
I'm so looking forward to meeting each of you and to completing this adventure together. Not sure what to expect, other than what I've read in Audrey's blogs, but so far it's sounding really good -- pedicures, massages :-D Seriously, I'm really looking forward to finding out more about the people of Nepal and finding out where God is leading us in this great adventure! I can't wait to see what's next!
Sharing His Love,
Diane
My Didi's and Bahini's (SISTERS)
I am looking forward to our time together bonding and learning to apply what we have been learning in Church recently about carrying our cross. We have the blessed opportunity to do this adventure together for HIS glory. Let's pray now that God makes us Nepali so we will be seen as family and not just Americans. That is where relationships can truly be built. Getting very excited.

Hi Ladies! I am very excited to meet all of you and make some memories that will last us a lifetime! My sister seems to be very excited for me because I/ we will be in her "neck of the world" finally. I am excited about making some lasting and meaningful relationships with the Nepali people and showing them the love of God from all the way on the otherside of the world. Can't wait to see you all very soon!
